The theme of this painting is despair. Its because when I painted this I got it from a tv show. In the show it marked when the T.A.R.D.I.S exploded. That was a very sad time for anyone who watched the show. My own feelings did go into this project because the show that this is from is really important to me. It also explains me, I sometimes explode when I get mad. The colors of my painting expresses life and death in a way because the T.A.R.D.I.S explodes and after that happens it gets put back together which creates life. The focus of the painting is the center of the T.A.R.D.I.S exploding. I think that this a successful painting because it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

The purpose I created this drawing of this boy is because it was for a community project and he will be able to see this when it gets back to him. This piece evokes subtlety because it is precise and delicate and calmness. He was really calm when he took the picture that I drew. The strongest element in the art is value and it is everywhere in the picture. Proportion was the biggest visual focus and it is in the eyes, nose, mouth and basically everywhere. My artwork was successful because it ended up looking just like Bismark. He ended up looking just like the picture I got.

The purpose of my work is for my niece. Even though she is 2 I will save it for a while until she is old enough to wear it. The mood of the piece is evokes is happiness and joy. The strongest element in this piece is color because on the headband its full of bright colors and the visual focus is the flowers on the top of the headband and it was a pattern that happened in a way with a variety of colors. It was successful because it turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

Guy Laramee studied many things before. Such as film and music and art. Things that I would be interested in learning. His work has been presented int the U.S, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and Latin America. The thing I love about his work is that he makes the art out of books. You can see the value when you look at the artwork. The texture looks so real like when you actually go see mountains or a valley or a cave or even waves. He makes it so live like that I just want to shrink that small and explore those lands. It gives a sensation that it makes me wonder what is all out there. It brings mystery to what all the books could end up being. I'm just hoping he read the books before he decided to carve them out. Even though it is insanely cool. This art also gives me a sense of loneliness trying to find a journey to go on. I love how he put every detail was to put together to make it look beautiful. I amazed to what kind of things that he all could make. He puts knowledge into his cravings and a lot of creativity. The Caverna is one of my favorites. It means The Cave. It also must have taken a long time too because it wasn't on the top like most of the carvings it was in the center of the book. Most of the carvings are made from old Encyclopedias and old Dictionaries. The cave was supposed to hold prisoners but instead of portraying the cave like that he decided to portray the cave as a refuge. It also was a metaphor for seeing trough the walls.
